It was a perfect day for a track meet in Columbus today.  There were many great performances, here are our top performers listen below:

Girls Boys
Kettering Archbishop Alter 4x800 ran 9:17.10 for the win. Defiance Boys ran 7:57.24 to win the 4x800 relay.
Jerica Sanders of Mentor Lake Catholic ran 14.50 in 100 hurdles which was the fastest qualifying time in that event. Ben Moody of Cortland Lakeview ran 14.10 in the 110 hurdles (which was the fastest qualifying time), 10.83 in the 100 (which was the second fastest qualifying time), placed 3rd in the Long Jump with a jump of 22'3.25", and anchored the 4x100 relay which had the fastest qualifying time of 42.98.  Quite a busy day!
Chesna Sykes of Columbus Bishop Hartley ran 11.64 in the 100, which would have been a State Record except for +2.7 mps wind. Justin Chappell ran 10.77 in the 100 (fastest qualifying time), and 21.87 in the 200 (third fastest qualifying time.
Aisha Cavin of Col. Bishop Hartley ran 24.47, which was the fastest qualifying time in the girls 200 meters. Rufus Walls of Bishop Hartley ran the fastest 200 meter qualifying time in 21.44 which was slightly wind-aided. 
  Korbin Smith of Delta ran 48.01 in the 400, which was the fastest qualifying time.
